Ambassadors

#Media2012 is delighted to receive details about ambassadors, who will champion the blueprint and work with the team to build a Games time programme. We ask ambassadors to promote the project’s values, which consist of the following:

  1. To create social media in an ethical, respectful way.
  2. To build spaces for dialogue between people with opposing views.
  3. To promote the #media2012 tag as the primary hashtag for citizen media reporting during the 2012 Games.
  4. To bring your institution to the network mainline (Glasgow, Manchester, London), either physically or virtually, by becoming part of the curated cultural programme.
  5. To share your knowledge about social media with others, so as to promote upskilling of new media environments through the collaboration.
  6. To endeavour to reach the Olympic and Paralympic capital during some days of the Games and to traverse the UK to other zones.
  7. To freely license some of your work during Games time for others to share.
